Pythagoras understood the value of meaningfulness in one's decisions, so he helped to create a space for people who also understood this. Through their cooperation and intentionality, they created a society that would be copied, studied, and emulated for milenia to come. Intentional communities serve as proof that humans are capable of working together to improve their legacy and reduce their footprint on the earth, and the longevity of Southeast Ohio’s communities are proof of our ability to persevere through the challenges of these improvements.
